Sunset Watch Poolside Villa offers a romantic setting and a large sundeck within a lush tropical garden near a sparkling turquoise pool. Expansive views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel can be enjoyed from the dining room, living room, kitchen, bedroom and even from the indoor spa shower. Amenities include a gourmet-equipped kitchen, full bathroom and jacuzzi tub, outdoor shower, high-speed internet & TV, color printer/copier/fax, and access to laundry. If 1 Paradise Lane is rented, pool is shared with guests from that villa.

This oceanfront one bedroom BVI Villa sits nestled in cool, lush, tropical gardens only steps from one of Virgin Gorda's most sequestered beaches. The one bedroom villa embodies the elegant simplicity of a high-end Island resort while maintaining beachside comfort that allows guests to feel they are visiting their own private beach house in the British Virgin Islands.

The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue grill can be used to prepare meals for al fresco dining either on the villa's large patio, the adjacent poolside sun deck, or right on the beach. Beside the kitchen, a tranquil atrium den presents the perfect place for flopping down after a long day of exploring the island of Virgin Gorda.

A king-sized bed with the finest linens invites dozing or daydreaming beneath hand-painted murals. The villa's sliding glass bedroom doors open to a patio and display a jaw-dropping view of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. Beyond the bedroom, the bathroom oasis offers double sinks, a Jacuzzi bath tub & shower, an outdoor spa shower, and an endless supply of fluffy towels. Natural light pours in, reflecting off the cool, white tiles, and fashioning the room into a retreat within a retreat.

Kitchen

The new modern gourmet kitchen was designed to meet the needs of even the most discerning chef with lots of storage for groceries, great stainless appliances, ceramic knives and a custom designed white concrete countertop which has imbedded recycle local glass and mother of pearl inlay. Groceries can be pre-purchased online and stocked prior to your arrival for a fee by Bucks Wholesale Supermarkets.

There is an air-conditioned indoor dining area with comfortable seating for four next to the kitchen. In addition there is an outdoor dining area near the pool with 3 Burner Gas and Charcoal Grill. Or you can enjoy your morning coffee or tea or an after dinner drink at bistro bar table on the patio. A custom countertop was created by Greencrete BVI, who specializes in environmentally friendly designs with a Caribbean flair. This design, called “Virgin Island Confetti” is made with a combination of concrete, local recycled sea glass, and mother-of-pearl inlay. All new stainless steel appliances allow for you to prepare, cook, and clean up with ease.

Living Room

The newly added living area features an oversize hurricane-rated 13ft sliding glass door which brings the view of the blue sky and water into the room.

The credenza holds a 50” smart TV, Wi-Fi router, and a cordless phone with a local number for local calls. The TV and internet are connected to fiber optic internet service from FLOW BVI offering high-speed internet and digital TV service with 89 channels and streaming capabilities. A color laser printer is also free for use during your stay. Connect music from any device to our portable waterproof Bluetooth speaker and play music during dinner or take it out to the pool and beach with its own travel bag.

Moveable overhead floor lamps are available for reading after dark or setting the mood in the evening. The sliding glass door opens up from the living room to your own private pool and the magnificent Sir Francis Drake Channel of the Caribbean Sea. On the other side of the living room, another sliding door with curtains opens to your bedroom.

Bedroom

Enter the bedroom from either the kitchen or the living room. Draw the sliding door curtains at dawn to reveal a direct view of the morning ocean right from your bed. The bedroom features a king size bed with a 14” thick gel memory foam mattress and matching, storage capable nightstands.

This cozy, beach-inspired bedroom is furnished with a white rustic dresser, and a full-size closet with mirror doors. You can get to the bathroom, living room, and kitchen all directly from within the bedroom. And if you absolutely MUST do any work while you are in paradise, we have provided a desk and office chair. A 32” smart TV is mounted on the wall in the bedroom.

Bathroom

Off the side of the bedroom is a master bathroom with double bowl vanity and separate toilet stall. This bath is equipped with a Whirlpool 8-jet jacuzzi tub, an adjustable rainfall shower-head with an 8-jet spa panel (and detachable shower head), and lined with genuine mother-of-pearl tiles. Open the curtain in the tub to reveal an unrivaled view of the Caribbean. For a different experience, try the outdoor shower, accessible from both the bathroom and outside; also great for rinsing off when coming back from the beach or the pool.

Pool, patio, & beach

At Sunset Watch, you are just steps from the pool at all times. Exit the sliding glass door in your living room and your limitless access to all that you see. As soon as you step outside, a stone-lined, freshwater pool awaits. The water temperature here is always perfect and from inside the pool water you can even keep an eye on the ocean.

A fully outfitted patio will have you outside eating lunch every day and marveling at the sunset for dinner every night. With seating for 6, you can even invite you friends over. The west-facing patio overlooks the beach and the entire Sir Francis Drake Channel. The patio includes dining furniture, retractable awnings, and sunbathing lounge chairs.

Just a short walk down a set of stairs will lead you right onto Sunset Watch private beach. Enjoy included kayaks, canopy tent on the sand, or just dig your toes in the sand. There is a large patch of boulders you can climb, explore, and even picnic on. The possibilities are endless in this paradise. So come and design your own beach adventure.
