Sunset Watch guests return year after year for the beauty and seclusion of its Virgin Gorda beaches. We have a beach to suit every mood!

Our villas sit perched above the usually secluded Nail Bay Beach. With private access to these pristine sands you'll rarely find or see another soul on this stretch of coast line. Each villa is equipped with a picnic set for you to spend the day sunning, swimming, and snorkeling. Healthy coral reefs are literally feet from the shore. Enjoy an intimate sunset stroll after dinner, usually without another person in sight.

When you decide you want to escape the privacy of Nail Bay, you are in luck because Virgin Gorda has tons of other beaches to explore. Here are some of our top picks.

BATHS/devil’s bay

The centerpiece of this dramatic area on Virgin Gorda's north shore is The Baths, a geological wonder comprised of awe-inspiring granite boulders, which form sheltered sea pools on the beach's edge. These huge granite boulders lie in piles on the beach, forming scenic grottoes that are open to the sea. The protected area also includes Devil's Bay, which can be reached from The Baths by a series of ladders scaling the boulders. Just north of The Baths, Spring Bay is reached by a separate road and includes a lovely white sand beach.

MOUNTAIN TRUNK & long bay

Both Mountain Trunk and Long Bay are short walks from the villas. Bordering on the east and west sides of Nail Bay Beach, they are famous for ultra fine sand, stunning views of the Island of Tortola and the neighboring islands to the East, and beginners snorkeling spots. Small and secluded, these Virgin Gorda hideaways are a fine place to spend an afternoon.

savannah bay

This is a bright white sandy beach that is located along the thin neck of land that joins The Valley section of Virgin Gorda to North Sound. It is stunning to look down on from the road and because it is fairly isolated, is good for both swimming and sunbathing in private. There's not much shelter from the sun though, so make sure to bring the sun block.

leverick bay

If you’re looking for something with a little more pizzazz, Leverick is a beach that has a little of everything. It is located on the northeast side of the island and home to a marina for a lot of local boaters. Because of its high boating traffic, Leverick Bay includes a resort, a beachfront restaurant, and even a watersports store. It’s not as private as some of the other beaches on Virgin Gorda, but there’s plenty to do.

We guarantee there are more beaches than you will have time to see on your visit, so these are just a few of our favorites. If you want more options, check out this list from ILOVEVIRGINGORDA.
