We named Sundowner while we were on a trip to South Africa and Botswana. After every long day in the bush enjoying a safari, we had an alcoholic drink at sundown in the bush. This drink was referred to as having a Sundowner. We could not think of a better place to have a drink at sundown than Sundowner, which was built in 2001. We furnished Sundowner with objects we collected from various parts of Africa and around the world. We wanted it to be a place that was eclectic but a comfortable place that seemed to be miles away from the civilization in which we all live. We hope you agree.
